Things haven't been easy for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season.
They got off to a disappointing 10-11 start, which resulted from the team's struggle
to successfully integrate offseason acquisition Rudy Gobert
and things got worse when the Timberwolves took on the Washington Wizards on Monday night
Trailing in the third quarter, Karl-Anthony Towns crumpled to the floor with an apparent
Towns was helped off the court and put no strain on his leg as he exited the locker room.
He was ruled out for the rest of the game with a sprained right calf. Imaging on Tuesday confirmed that the calf is sprained
and according to Adrian Wojnarowski, Towns is expected to miss 4-6 weeks of action as a result.
With that timeline, Cities will likely be back in action in January
