I will give you a suggestion: do not come Eco park alone to visit, come with your friends and family. You will love it. It is also known as one of the famous couple-friendly places in Kolkata. How to reach Eco Park Kolkata:

First option: You can easily reach Eco Park from Howrah or Sealdah Railway Station. Eco Park is situated in the New Town Rajarhat area, so you need to first reach New Town. Sometimes, you will find buses from Sealdah or Howrah that go directly to Eco Park. Otherwise, if you want to reach New Town or Biswas Bangla Gate quickly, you will find many autos there that can take you to Eco Park. This is the first option to reach Eco Park from Sealdah or Howrah. If you are arriving this way, you have to enter from Gate 1 of Eco Park.

Second option: First, you need to go to Bidhannagar Railway Station. Bidhannagar Railway Station is just one station away from Sealdah. If you are coming from Howrah, take a bus to Sealdah and then a train on the mainline to Bidhannagar. From there, you will find plenty of buses or autos that will take you directly to Eco Park in New Town. The bus fare from Bidhannagar to Eco Park is 20 rupees, and if you prefer an auto, the fare is 40 rupees per person.

If you are arriving this way, you also have to enter from Gate no 1.

Third option: If you go to Eco Tourism Park from the airport, you will find many buses or taxis near the airport that can take you to Eco Park. The bus fare from the airport to Eco Park is 20 rupees, and if you prefer a taxi, the fare will be around 300 rupees. I went to Eco Park from the airport side and returned to the airport via Bidhannagar.

If you are entering Eco Park from the airport side, you will enter through Gate no 4.

How was Eco Tourism Park Kolkata created?

In 2011, when Mrs. Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister of Kolkata and the entire West Bengal, she gave the idea of creating an eco-tourism park near New Town in Kolkata. The responsibility for the construction and design of this park was given to the West Bengal Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

WBHIDC started this work in 2012 on the orders of Mrs. Mamata Banerjee, and the design and construction of this park were completed by the end of 2013. The park was opened for visitors in 2013. This park has three main attractions: the Open Garden, the Eco Zone, and the Theme Garden. Over time, many other attractions have been added.

For example, when I visited Eco Park in 2014, there was no Theme Garden. Then, when I visited Eco Park in 2019, I was completely surprised to see that the seventh wonder installations had been added to the Theme Garden. These include the Statue of Liberty, the Giza Pyramids, and other great historical monuments.

To enter the tea garden, you have to enter from Gate No. 1. In fact, for most of the gardens in Eco Park, you have to enter from Gate No. 1. In this tea garden, you can see a lot of tea gardens. Land Zorb:
You can do Land Zorb on land like Water Zorb in water. You will be in a big balloon, and you have to walk in it. You can go up to 200 meters, and it will cost you 150 rupees per head. Up to three people can do it.

If you have a 10- to 15-year-old child with you, you can try sub-junior cycling, a 30-minute cycle ride that costs around 70 rupees per head.
